Review: 72051 Donkey Kong Arcade

First released in 1981, Nintendo’s Donkey Kong is a hugely successful arcade platforming game at the root of a classic video franchise family tree. Based on the suspiciously familiar ‘giant monkey kidnaps damsel in distress’ premise, it was originally created by Nintendo to make use of unsold cabinets for the
