Background: The CV90 is a family of Swedish tracked armored combat vehicles developed from the late 1980s through the early 1990s, before entering service in Sweden during the later part of the 1990s. The CV90 vehicle design has continuously evolved through multiple generations, adapting to technological progress and changing operational requirements. Export configurations are equipped with E-series turrets and feature different automatic weapons systems depending on variant specifications.
